Sky Sports Italia have claimed that former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb will move to Inter Milan this summer on a one year loan deal from Champions League winners Barcelona.

The Belarussian midfielder, who was heavily linked with the Serie A champions while plying his trade in north London, now looks set to reignite his career after a torrid twelve months in Spain. The player had previously been linked with Aston Villa, Stuttgart and Bayern Munich.

rsenal have offered a trial to 15-year-old Serbian starlet, Veljko Batrovic, according to a report from Sky Sports.

Dubbed the new Messi… he is something special and should he sign, would be a coup for Arsene.

Currently at FK Bubamara, the youngsters has been courted by Italian giants AC Milan, but it appears the London club have moved to the front of the queue with the offer of a trial.

Sky reports that the skilful attacker has been offered the chance to train with Arsenal by Arsene Wenger, and is believed to be on his way to London for a short medical.

Melo signs for Juventus

Juventus have signed Fiorentina’s Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo after beating off competition from Arsenal.

Juve paid £17.5 million plus winger Marco Marchionni for the 26-year-old, the Turin club said in a statement, adding that he has penned a five-year contract.

“I believe a lot in this side. It has been reinforced and can rival any team as we target all the trophies in Italy and Europe,” Melo said.

Real Madrid have long been linked with Fabregas, as have the Spain international’s former club Barcelona, but Migeul Pardeza (the sporting director)  is adamant the 22-year-old is not on their radar.

“He is a great player, there’s no doubt about that. But at this moment he is not a target for Real Madrid”

All we need is Barcelona to say the same thing…!

Despite various offers from other countries, Alex Hleb’s agent has said that he will not be moving from the Nou Camp.

“We have four or five offers from England and Germany.”

“The club knows this but sporting director (Txiki Beguiristain) has told me that Alexander has a guaranteed place in the squad and that is decided by the coach (Pep Guardiola).

“Hleb is happy at Barcelona.”

The reports clubs are supposed to be Everton, Aston Villa, Man City and Spurs as well as Stuttgart, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich.

In some breaking news, Werder Bremen’s coach Thomas Schaaf has revealed that Naldo may be coming to the Grove…

“Naldo is a great athlete and could do well at the right club, unfortunately he doesn’t fit the direction we’re planning to move in any longer

Adebayor offer from “important team”…

Following on from news yesterday that Adebayor is looking to leave the club, his agent, Stephane Courbis, has talked about the interest from other clubs.

“As of today, I have not even got evidence to speak of presumed interest from Chelsea and Manchester United,” Courbis revealed. “It’s a given fact that Carlo Ancelotti likes the player seeing that last year he tried to sign him for Milan, although Chelsea have not contacted us.

He also revealed that there is some serious interest from an “important team”… but who could that be?

“We have not received any calls, not from Milan or Ancelotti. Another team has contacted us, but I cannot say anything, it’s a very important team.”

In a saga which we all knew would end in Yaya Toure signing a new contract, he’s done just that…

“If all goes well, towards the end of the week we will sign the contract.

“The road was not easy during the last few weeks but now Barcelona have realised that Yaya is an important member of their squad and they value his services.”

New coming from Mascherano is that his is flattered at the link with Barcelona, but Yaya’s agent is worried about that…

“This is not a problem for Yaya Toure, but for the Argentinian because he could be on the bench for many minutes.”
